Cottages
To me, Sadler teapots represent the best of what any of us aspires to be - reliable, durable, friendly, functional—and often pretty, and even whimsical! I love Sadler teapots for all those reasons. They may not always be the showiest (think the ubiquitous Brown Betty) but they aren’t high maintenance either, making them a great go-to for both everyday and special-day use. This photo features “Rose Cottage” from Sadler’s “Country Cottages” series. Just as in real life, each side of the cottage is unique and merits close examination. What do you see? I spy a Scottie dog, chicken topiary, and the requisite Wellies, to name a few. This little two-cup pot is my go-to when brewing for just myself. It makes me smile, which is a happy accompaniment to any cup of tea.
